What I've Learned:

For the past week I've been gone on vacation to a family spot in upstate New York. It's a little place called Silver Bay. If you read my blog regularly, I'm sure you've read about the place before and maybe even seen some pictures. Well, after spending a much needed week up there, I've learned a few things...

  1. Vacations are necessary.
  2. Going 10 years without seeing family is too long.
  3. Having no tv, radio or working clocks isn't the worst thing in the world... it's kind of the best thing.
  4. Pregnancy and flying don't mix.
  5. Even if you think you've taken enough pictures, you haven't.
  6. Sitting around doing nothing for a whole day is awesome.
  7. There's one in every family.
  8. Having your A/C breaker blow while you're away sucks... especually when the house is 92 degrees when you get back.
  9. Your dog misses you when you're gone for a week and gets all snuggly when you come back.
  10. Reality blows.
